Join CCMF Co-Director Anna Reinersman for a luncheon concert of solo harp music. Bring a bag lunch and enjoy!

Carolina Chamber Music Festival - Classical Cabaret
Bank of the Arts, 317 Middle Street, 6-7 pm

Join CCMF for the perfect way to end the day! Dynamic TV and stage personality Ron Raines joins popular returning artists violinist Catherine French, violist Amadi Azikiwe, cellist Jennifer Lucht, and pianist Melvin Chen for a program of Cabaret music through the ages. This delightful program features Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, and the songs of Leonard Bernstein and Rodgers and Hammerstein.

5:30 p.m. wine and cheese reception

Sponsored by Mount Olive College.

The final roud of the History Bowl will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Orringer Auditorium at Craven Community College. Come celebrate the winners!

Carolina Chamber Music Festival Celebration Concert
First Baptist Church, Middle Street, 8:00 pm

7:30 p.m. Pre-concert discussion with Composer In Residence Jim Wann and baritone Ron Raines

CCMF celebrates New Bern's 300th Anniversary with the World Premiere of a work for harp and strings by Composer In Residence Jim Wann, inspired by New Bern personalities and events and the mystique of the Carolina Coast. Also featuring Debussy's Danses Sacree et Profane, Copland's Old American Songs, and music from 1710. Baritone Ron Raines joins CCMF instrumentalists for this special event!

Audiences are invited to meet the artists at a post-concert reception.
Tickets: $25 general admission and $20 for seniors

Craven's Got Talent
Craven's Got Talent is a benefit for the Craven County Special Olympics, sponsored by the New Bern Civitan Club and the Tryon Civitan Club. Local artists including Bear City Opry, Middle Street Moods, Simon Spalding and Craig Cooper will entertain you!

Time: 6:00 p.m.
Admission: $5.00

Carolina Chamber Music Festival -A Festive Family Concert
New Bern-Craven County Public Library, 400 Johnson Street, 3:00 pm

The Festival presents a festive and informal afternoon family concert full of discovery and adventure for kids of all ages. This interactive program features local youth talents, including a cello duo, performing alongside CCMF artists. Refreshments will be served.

Admission is free.

Fall Family Day: “Life in a New Colony”
9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Included in Time Travelers Pass.

Come learn what it was like to move to a new land and try to build a life there. Families of all ages can enjoy tours of the Palace and our historic homes as well as interactive crafts, activities, and demonstrations. Bring your picnic lunch and spend time immersed in the past. Activities are designed for school-age children; some activities have a minimum age requirement.

No advance registration needed.

Tryon Palace Gardens Free First Sunday
The gardens of the Tryon Palace will be open to the public at no charge on the first Sunday of March through October 2010. Interior tours will be discounted.
